Good building but it is too hot
Overall, I've had a good experience living in 1500 Chicago.
Pros: Many students from Kellogg, Location in terms of downtown evanston, value for money
Cons: Too hot and not very well ventilated, somewhat further away from Kellogg than most other buildings (I wish I would have picked Park Evanston)

1500 Chicago - a great option for Kellogg students
Big living room, kitchen, closets, 2 big bedrooms + 2 bathrooms! This double is south-facing, so we get excellent light. I have several classmates in this building and we do get togethers, casual wine nights, potlucks, and game nights. The building is mostly Kellogg students + elderly Evanston permanent residents.
15 minute walk from the Jacobs center (Kellogg at Northwestern), the building is located in the heart of downtown Evanston. Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and Jewel Osco within 10 mins walk. Multiple bars, gyms, food establishments, CVS, etc. within a 10 minute radius.

Excellent value, great location, and great community
I used to live in Boston, and this building will exceed the expectations of anyone who's used to living in older city apartment buildings. I share a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment with a roommate, and we have a spacious living room and plenty of closet/storage space. I love the natural light through the huge windows. The kitchen is small, but has all you would need, including a dishwasher. Location is great, right in downtown Evanston, and just a 10-12 minute walk to NU. Management company is responsive and helpful.
Although there are not fancy amenities, the basics are perfectly fine, so the overall value of this apartment is excellent. Great Kellogg community in the building as well!

Awesome location
Best value in all of Evanston hands down, especially if you get an updated unit like mine

Well located, lots of kellogg students, a little expensive for the value.

Cozy efficient unit
Small and inexpensive studio apartment. Not great for entertaining, but livable and clean. The windows are drafty in the winter when the wind chill is below zero. I had to set up window insulation. Building managers are generally nice, aside from the $25 lockout fee during off hours.

Cheap and cheerful (while still well-maintained)
Lots of Kellogg students live in the building; close to campus (~15 minute walk). Has all the basics of what you need and focus of benefits are value for money - i.e. it's not a brand new luxury flat, but clean and "does the job".

Perfectly nice apartment building
Nothing really bad to say about this place. It's got all the basic amenities for a reasonable price. There are a lot of other Kellogg students in the building so you're constantly running into people you know. All in all, no complaints.
