E2 is not cheap
E2 is super overpriced. You get great amenities, but can only use these for a few months a year. Management is average at best, bad at worst. The building has had issues like leaks and flooding at times and things are not handled as professionally as you'd expect for how much we pay.
That said the social aspect has been amazing - most of my friends live in the building and my social scene revolves around the building. It feels like the Kellogg dorms. I'm glad I chose to live here.

Good Building, Bad Management
It is great to live in E2 becuase so many other Kellogg students live here. There are also really nice amenities. However, there are quite a few downsides. The walls are pretty thin, so I can hear pretty much everything from my roommates everywhere in the apartment. Also, the elevators seem to break all the time. Finally, management is largely incompetent. They regularly make errors and can be difficult to deal with. It seems like we should get more considering how much we are paying in rent.

E2 Townhouse
If you’re looking to live at E2 but want some space and more privacy I can’t recommend the townhouses here enough. They’re super livable and great for hosting everything from small group dinners to pregames. They’re hard to snag but if you can find two other people to live with I’d go for it! E2 is a bit on the expensive side as compared to other apartment buildings but the convenience and ability to meet other people in the building especially during cold weather should not be underestimated.

Popular social building, although poorly managed/overpriced
Highly recommend living at E2 if you're looking for a convenient, popular building with lots of other Kellogg students. I appreciate living in a place where I have group meetings, and can always find someone to walk home with. It's also closer to the Hub than some of the other popular options like Centrum. That said, I'm paying for that convenience/dorm-like atmosphere: the building is overpriced and management is slow to respond to needs such as the elevators breaking down. For me, this tradeoff is well worth it and I plan to stay next year.

E2
E2 is a little ways out of the way of downtown evanston but lots of Kellogg meetings / bus pickups / etc are there so it is definitely convenient. The pool and gym are nice too although overall I feel the building is becoming outdated.

Overpriced, terrible management, great maintenance team, issues with elevators
The apartment is great. Heater/AC is VERY noisy though - fan only works at max speed, impossible to have a tranquil night of sleep without ear plugs. Management has serious issues with responding to e-mails or answering the phone/returning calls, but work great if you are physically present in their office. Maintenance is great - usually able to do small fixes on the same day with no extra charges. West tower has been with only one working elevator for several weeks now, while management is struggling to get the second one fixed - appears to be very serious and hard to fix given the time frame, so something to consider in the future. Had issues with reserved elevators upon moving in (broken elevator, mix-up with booking by management), but management reimbursed extra expenses with movers so all good. Also, it is very annoying that in the west tower you can't have guests come up on their own - you HAVE to go down to pick them up. There's a completely useless callbox below which will give them access to a lounge but not to the elevators. In addition, the "Fantastic pool" is only open for 3 months during the summer as it's outdoors, so it's quite useless. Gym is OK, but missing a few key equipment like a pulley (whoever bought them in the first place had probably never used a gym before).

You should live here, but the bldg mgmt is a disaster
Amazing building to be with Kellogg people and knowing what I know now I would still make the same choice.
The bldg management is a disaster and you just need to be okay with that. For example, the West Tower elevator has been broken for like 3 weeks and people have either had to wait like 10 minutes for the elevator or take the stairs.
Also I highly recommend trying to live in East Tower if you can - easier for package collection, getting guests into the building etc.

Townhomes in E2 are ideal
Live in a 3 bedroom townhome with two roommates. Great for hosting (but be prepared for your friends to ask you to host regularly). Very spacious and best unit price in E2. Certain parts feel cheaply done. Internet infrastructure is poorly designed - invest in a good router. Management is a bit slow off the mark - patience is necessary here. Other plus side of Townhomes is never having an elevator issue. Plus, so much of Kellogg lives in E2 that it creates its own community and makes group meetings very convenient.

E2 is even better than expected
I live in 1 of the 12 3 story townhouses. I like having a separate entrance and not needing to take the elevator. For 3 people it’s perfect.
Maintenance at e2 is surprisingly good (esp compared to my experiences in nyc). Their team has quickly taken care of everything from broken dishwashers to new lights to fixed vents to better control central air or heat.
Facilities are great and, I can’t believe I’m saying this but, I would rate the experience as truly excellent.
