Post Briarcliff

Very well maintained apartment complex. Good community, probably 70% residents are going or went to Emory.
Very decent gym.
Apartments are ok.
Maintenance staff has always been very quick to respond.
Location is great. Whole foods next door and everything else is close by.

Not international student friendly

My room is at the terrace level and it is very dark. People should take care of the furniture, which is very annoying for international students. The shuttle is not very convenient. Overall, Post is good for people with car and furniture.

Spectacular building

Post Briarcliff is quite spectacular and the gothic-style architecture is stunning. With more than 20,000 square feet, it's the perfect place to throw epic parties. The Olympic size swimming pool adds to the place's glamour as well. Luckily, there are no nearby neighbors so we haven't had any issues with noise complaints. Unfortunately, the mansion is not metro-accessible so it's a little hard to get around, but the four-car garage makes up for that. It would be nice if there were nearby dining and nightlife options. While a little over-priced, the Gatsby Mansion has been an excellent place to live.

Like this place

I really enjoy Post Properties and Post Briarcliff is a good one. It is in a good location, and a close drive to the airport. The apartments are spacious, with the rooms upstairs when you walk in. The pool is large and nice and gym is a good size as well. Overall no complains and enjoy living here!

Safe Complex Near Emory!

I have enjoyed living in Post Briarcliff's spacious, attractive apartments near Emory University. A lot of my classmates live there, so it has a social atmosphere and I've enjoyed using the pool, gym and tennis courts. Plus, it's gated, so I feel safe.

cozy and close to school, but too old

Large apartment complex makes this place good to live, but from time to time, there are break-ins and because this building is made out of wood, lots of ants and it is quite annoying. leasing office staff are not that supportive and quick to assist. Once I slipped on the floor very hard, and got hurt badly, but haven't been assisted fairly. very disappointing.

Pretty Nice Place

Post is good place for Emory students who wants to be relatively close to campus but not too close. There are few instances when someone broke into the apartment complex and stole things but overall, the apartment is in good shape and many people seems to enjoy living there.

Great place to live

Post is great. The pool is always kept clean, if there are ever any issues the maintenance guys will come out either the day of or the next day and the leasing consultants are always helpful. We live in a 2 bedroom bungalow and the extra garage space is nice

North Druid Hills Reviews

It's an open area with trees. Very close to Emory campus as well as the Toco Hills plaza (Kroger, Publix, many restaurants). Further down Clairmont at the intersection with North Decatur road, there's another Publix as well as some other restaurants in the plaza.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
The neighborhood is pretty safe and quiet. We are also close to a number of grocery stores. There isn't much entertainment around though if you're looking for that.
Nearby Emory, has shuttles, and very safe. It is also an easy drive to midtown if you have a car. Great experience overall.
Quiet neighborhood, mostly Jewish community. Great neighbors and close to many businesses (restaurants, grocery stores)
This isn't a neighborhood, so no experience to speak of. It's an apartment complex off of the highway with office buildings all around it. I wouldn't say it's family friendly, but it's conveniently located for a student. I didn't want to be around all of my classmates constantly (at Post) so this creates some distance where you can be more choosy about which events you attend.
A lot of neighborhoods, grocery stores and restaurants. Not the cutest area to walk around in.
Many supermarkets, stores, restaurants in the neighborhood
Very convenient access to restaurants & shopping. Close to campus and lots of other students in the area. Not the trendiest or most walkable neighborhood but a great location for first year students.
