Great value
You get a large apartment with a great location that is both fairly close to school and close to downtown for a pretty cheap price. Downsides: Older styling, non-covered parking if you have a car when it snows heavily, laundry in the basement. Maintenance team is ridiculously fast.

Good Value
Terrific management, not the greatest amenities, but super close to campus and totally reasonable offering for the price.

Northeast Evanston Reviews
They may bucket this as "Northeast" Evanston but if it is it's right on the line. The line is also moving North (as the hub pulls it that way). The surrounding area is nicer as well as it feels a bit more suburban than downtown does (and the houses in the surrounding streets are insanely nice), but again, you are 5-10 minutes from downtown. "Best of both worlds" sounds cliche but it's a perfect description of this place.
-Close to Ingraham Park and the Golf Course where we take our dog.
-Close to undergrad houses on Foster street and further north on Ridge Ave.
-Overall good neighborhood experience.
