Park Pacific

I love living at Park Pacific. They have everything I need in one building. The only issue I have is the location. The homeless can try to come in the building and harass you when you leave the apartment for classes. Other than that, I have no issues and recommend the apartment.

Pretty good for a SLU Law student

Being so close to school is the top selling factor for me. It is very convenient and all the stores needed are not too far of a drive.

Great distance

Park Pacific is clean, cozy, modern, and has great views. I recommend getting an apartment on a higher floor for better views. It’s really pet friendly and mostly quiet which is great for doing homework. One downside is that downtown is not as bustling as you would think, so there’s not a lot of walkable places to go, but as long as you have a vehicle, it’s so worth being literally 5 minutes away from class. I highly recommend living here for law school.

Good if you want close proximity to SLU Law

Overall, my experience has been good. The apartment is close to the school and is conveniently located to most major road systems in the St. Louis area, allowing easy access to many parts of the city. There were issues with my move-in date and renovations being delayed, however, these issues have dissipated in recent months. I have also had multiple issues with a leaking dishwasher. The management tends to not be very helpful, but the doormen are extremely kind.

Get out of downtown

I wish I knew of other options besides Park Pacific as an out-of-state student. It’s so expensive and management can be rude. There was a maintenance person in my apartment every week for four months straight at the beginning of my lease. The most positive thing is the location, but there’s also no full grocery stores or anything like that in the downtown area, so a car is necessary even living here. Might as well live further away and drive in, especially if you’re averse to hearing gunshots every weekend.

Park Pacific is Overrated

Overall I think this place is ok but if I could go back I would have stayed in the City View Apartments which was way cheaper but just as safe and close enough to the school where I felt comfortable walking home at night. I personally think Park Pacific is very expensive for what it offers when there are plenty of other cheaper options. The only reason I stayed is because of my roommate and not wanting to mess with her living situation. The nice part is yes there is a doorman that helps secure all packages but at Cityview there was a package drop-off box with a secured code each time, that did the exact same thing so again, not worth the extra money to live here.

Park Pacific

Management can be difficult at times but they are usually pretty responsive.

Maintenance is very responsive and easy to work with.
