Good amenities, management, residents

Lots of social activity going on, the crowd here isn't afraid to come out to the rooftop to have fun and play. Management is accomodating and often puts on social events, mixers, etc. Convenient location, especially if you work in downtown. It's a bit pricey--but, then again, so is everything in this area. They often have move-in specials.

High-end feel without the price tag

I've lived in 425 Mass for two years and love it. The amenities are fantastic - pools, gyms, 24 hour concierge, fob entry, etc. Maintenance is excellent and luckily I haven't had to use them very often since the apartments are well-built. The walls are thick so you never hear your neighbors (or roommates!). Granite countertops, hardwood floors, nice appliances, all the bells and whistles. You get great bang for your buck and enjoy an awesome location (5 minutes from the metro) for a relatively cheap price, at least by DC standards.

New building in DC's Chinatown

This apartment has wood floors, granite counter tops and floor to ceiling windows in the living space. The roof is one of the best spots in DC, overlooking the Capitol Building and Monument. It also has two pools on the roof with grills and socialization spaces. Underground parking is available, but expensive at $225 per month. The commute to the McLean office is about 45 minutes on the metro, but it is worth every minute to live in the city!

Mount Vernon Square Reviews

The neighborhood is in easy walking distance to Shaw and is quiet enough without being isolated from the rest of the city. There's also easy access to every metro line and the circulator.
Up and coming with plenty of restaurants and other social needs
The neighborhood itself is very quiet, but it's really close to U Street and downtown. I walked to campus everyday and it was a lovely 25-minute walk past the White House. There's an awesome Mexican-Asian grocery store about 2 blocks away and a Giant about 20 minutes. There's a 24 hour CVS around the corner as well as a liquor store so basically everything you could want is in short walking distance.
Great neighborhood with a lot of new buildings and businesses. Easy walk to the metro or to bars and restaurants. It also doesn't hurt being on top of a 24 hour grocery store.
Restaurants, bars, grocery store, the BEST Ace hardware store ever, chipotle... all within a block! Metro access is great and you're walking distance to the national mall.
Close to downtown DC and main offices (walking distance to work), little or no noise in neighborhood, Safeway, CVS and restaurants nearby, 2 metro stations nearby.
Easy access to every metro line within 15min walk. Close to popular dining/bar areas, as well as downtown. Only 30min walk to the National Mall and monuments.
Still an neighborhood in transition, but in my immediate area there's a Safeway, Chipotle, Taylor Gourmet, Capital One, Sweetgreen, Ace Hardware, and more.
