location is the only good thing about it
The location is downtown and perfect 5 minute cab ride anywhere. the pool is good but they put too many couches up there and you have to pay every time to use the grill. common room in basement is totally weird and creepy. front desk people are purely ornamental, front door remains unlocked at all times, anyone could walk in. hasnt been updated with kitchen or bathroom fixtures since i moved in, and those look like theyre out of the 80s. carpets are gross and need to be replaced with hardwood.

Great Apartment
Most affordable for the amount of space and building amenities! A 10 minute walk from every Metro line, right next to 14th Street restaurants and bars, and excellent building staff that cares about Doing the Right Thing.

Great place to live!
Love the area and the people are very helpful and friendly. Not so happy with the management as they can be a little unfriendly some times. Beautiful apartments, a lot of social life.i don't have that much to say about it and need

Love living here, good deal
This is a great place to live. It's not one of the new, sleek-looking apartment buildings; it's older, but I love living here. Room sizes are good, rooftop pool is a great perk. 24 front desk assistant, allows pets, responsive management. Yes it could be newer, but units are being renovated as they're vacated and they're updating the pool area as well. I do wish that the gym was included in the rent, but not a deal breaker.

Amazing building, location, and services
I love this building. The friendly staff is always willing to help out, and they truly care about your quality of life. Not a very social building, but it is in a great location and offers great value for each apartment.

Downtown Reviews
In terms of food, there's some decent food places, but not many. Georgetown, West End, and Dupont are within walking distance, so that's not so much of an issue. There's a Whole Foods and Trader Joes within a 15-minute walk from my apartment, but I prefer to drive to the Georgetown or Columbia Heights Safeway because they have cheaper/more options.
