Cityfront

great location slightly removed from campus and on the River but within a 15min walk to any NU buildings, nice staff, fast maintenance, good amenities with good-sized gym. elevators can be slow and rent is slightly out of my personal budget but comparatively a good deal on 1beds compared to other apartment buildings nearby that are as nice in quality.

Best place to live

The building has great common areas: gym, indoor pool, lounge, conference room, and laundry. Everything works perfectly. Also, is pet-friendly. In addition, the management constantly organizes events for the people who live there.

CityFront Place Review

Pros: Location is great in Streeterville. Right on the river and an easy walk to the loop. Amenities (gym, laundry, gorgeous 8th floor patio) are fantastic. Desk service always responsive and kind.

Cons: Constant leaking in the apartment itself and no enforcement of no smoking policy indoors. Water was always scalding hot. Despite being away from River North, location could still be dense at times (if you're looking for a more remote location).

Great staff

Fantastic staff that are willing to help at any time. Love the area since we are close to the water. Great shops and places to eat. Close to transit and minutes from Michigan Ave. For being right in town it is never too loud. A plus is seeing all the puppies!

Great place to live!

My experience so far has been wonderful. The staff is super friendly and very responsive to any issues we have, and the facilities are kept very clean and maintained. The amenities are great, with a large laundry area, a nice pool and beautiful rooftop decks with great city views.

Excellent Apartment

I have only been here for about two weeks, but I have been very impressed with the quality of our apartment and the building facilities as well as the helpfulness of the staff. I've especially enjoyed our indoor heated pool and the free coffee in the resident lounge in the morning. I attended a social event hosted by the apartment last night and had a very nice time. The location is great as well - the apartment is located right on the river and in walking distance of Michigan Ave.

Streeterville for the win

Only been here a month but love the place! Sunsets in the morning are awesome reflecting off of the lake, bar right downstairs and an AMC right across the street, walking distance to public transit, probably the safest neighborhood in the city and a great gym!

Excellent Apartment Complex!

After living here for 4 years, I can say that Cityfront Place is an amazing apartment complex to live in. The location is great (within walking distance of AMC, Target, multiple restaurants, Ohio Street Beach, Millenium Park, Michigan Ave...the list goes on). The rent is reasonable and management is always very helpful and timely. The apartment is quiet even though it is in a busy area of Chicago, and the social activities are great.

Not Bad At All

I like my apartment. Only thing is it is in Streeterville which is kinda far away from public transportation like metra and L. Super nice view and environment, good residents and responsive management team. They use to have a bar bell in the gym but for some reason its gone now. Overall good value, worth the money.

River East Reviews

It's tough in the summer with all of the tourists running in and out of Navy Pier. Lakeshore also floods right outside of the building, but it's always bustling and it feels safe. It's great to have the Target right down the street and several grocery stores in the neighborhood.
Close to grocery stores (Whole Foods and Treasure Island), Target Express opening later in 2015, about a 10 minute walk to red line subway but lots of nearby bus lines, LA Fitness and Planet Fitness are the closest gyms. Safe area with high foot traffic towards Navy Pier.
Love Streeterville. It's only getting better. More and more restaurants, bars, and cafes are moving in! We have everything we need in just a few blocks. Grocery store, Movie Theatre, Hospital, Lake Front Trail, Banks, Coffee shops, and food!
Streeterville is a super convenient neighborhood - the building is right next to Whole Foods, Target, drug stores, etc. Everything you need is right here. It's not very close to the L is the only drawback.
I like the Streeterville neighborhood so far, there is a good amount of grocery stores and restaurants. My only complaint is that there is limited El train lines in the area.
Streeterville is great. Biggest benefit is being able to walk to school/work. I generally feel safe and it's fun being so close to the lake.
So much to do in Streeterville and it is close to the river and the beaches. Lots of dogs walking around. Very safe neighborhood as well.
Just removed from the center of mass for Booth students, Streeterville offers an outstanding neighborhood to call home during your two years. Getting on the #2 or 6 buss makes commuting to Harper just as easy as taking the train.
